Desert globemallow flowers made from handmade stamps and 4 colored pencils.

I went for a walk. Along the way, I met a globemallow bush growing lushly. It’s apricot blooms asked me to make something in their likeness. I stripped a branch to take home. At my desk, the flowers whispered and cheered as I carved and mapped out this design. What a relief it has been to know them.

Printed on a 4 x 6 postcard. It could be mailed but my thought was that this one would live in a frame someplace. It is an original print.
