Desert globemallow flower and leaves made from handmade stamps and colored pencils.

I went for a walk. Along the way, I met a globemallow bush growing lushly. It’s apricot blooms asked me to make something in their likeness. I stripped a branch to take home. At my desk, the flowers whispered and cheered as I carved and mapped out this design. What a relief it has been to know them.

Printed on 4x6 cotton paper with metalic inks and set in a 8x10 frame. It is an original print. Frame is thrifted so it may show some wear.
